Hiatus

home office
What you're looking at is my "office", and the place where I spend most of my time. Since returning from Honduras, I've been getting serious about my job search. I'm setting myself a daily schedule and working hard to keep myself motivated. In the past few months I haven't been what you would call a frequent blogger, but this site is just another thing distracting me from my job-hunting efforts. Therefore, I'm putting this site on hiatus for a while. I may check in at some point, but most likely you won't hear from me until I'm gainfully employed again.

So wish me luck, and of course I'm still checking my e-mails so I'll be in touch, and feel free to send me words of encouragement. Looking for a job is not much fun, so let's hope this hiatus is a short one!

A Word of Thanks to My Sponsors

I am fully settled in back at home here, having finished up most of the paperwork for the Honduras trip. I wanted to say a special thank you to all the people who supported me by making donations towards my trip. I was really touched by your generosity and support and I appreciate all of your kind words and thoughts about this project of mine.

As for the raffle, there is good news and bad news. Well, mostly bad news: most of you did not win a raffle prize. The good news is that of the three available prizes, two of them went to people who bought their tickets from me, and both were family members (no, I promise I didn't cheat!) My brother, who lives in Philadelphia, won the weekend at the Hyatt in Philadelphia, and my soon-to-be stepsister, who lives in New York, won the dinner and Broadway tickets!

Anyway, thank you again for your support in making this trip possible! You really helped make a difference in some needy people's lives!
